Rebuilding our nature’s real promise
There is a fragile confidence from the developed world in our nature and what it offers up. Delivering on this promise in return for growing premiums is key to our prosperity. If we continue to rip the heart from our nature, we'll wake up one morning and that beautiful birdsong will be gone for good. Even worse something will be gone from our own hearts since our nature is fundamental to us all.
None of us want this. Our prosperity lies in our nature. Not just the nature in our forests, but the nature in our hearts. Conservation is not about pests, it’s about people. All of us working together in the defence and enjoyment of our natural advantage. We need to renew our love of nature or we will lose it. We need every New Zealander to share in rebuilding our nature’s real promise.
